Great price, but that cheap makes me a sceptic... let us know how they work out, I need to buy some before the spring.

Thanks !

I'm sorta leery about the price, but they are sixity pads and everyone on here that has used sixity pads seems to like them, I'm just tired of replacing brake pads, and them costing more than they do for my pick-up. Brake pads do have to meet minimum DOT requirements, so safety is not a concern, the only concern I have with them is the life span of the pads. I've tried the organics & Kevlar's, and they are easy on the rotors, but they don't last long with the way I ride, and they are terrible on making dust. The HH sintered pads make a little dust, but do were the rotors pretty good. From everything I've read, the ceramics seem to be a good middle choice. Quiet, easy on the rotors, very low dust, and last almost as long as HH pads.

Ceramics are supposed to be easier on the rotors than sintered, and make a lot less dust than the organics or Kevlar. Here's a link to them

Thanks for the links guys.
Even though I've already got some EBC sinistered
pads hanging on the wall in the garage I'm going to buy a set of the ceramics.

I too have a set of EBC sinistered pads on the shelf, but I was wanting to try ceramics. I sure do like the ceramics on my truck, and for that price, if I don't like them, I can just chunk them and put the EBCs on.

Well, I chickened out and ordered the ebc hh sintered pads today. Cost me about 150$ Canadian shipped, kawasaki pads would have set me back about $220.

Really looking forward to hear how you like the ceramics, maybe for my next set!

Well I got around to installing my Sixty ceramic pads a couple weeks ago, and now that I have a few hundred miles on them, I figured I would call up this thread and report on them..............
I must say that I'm VERY impressed with them, they stop just as well as the HH sintered EBC pads, but they are way smoother, and totally silent, and so far, no brake dust to speak of. Now the only question is longevity.

Good luck with them.

I never got any longevity out of them.

I've spent the $$ and gone back to the MaKAw pads.

Those lasted longer than any others I've had on this bike,

I'm glad to hear you say that, YJ. I just put a set of their ceramics on my '04 'Nad today. for $18/complete set, the very LEAST I'll get out of them is the minor grooves out of the rotors.

In Panama City Beach for Thunder Beach kept hearing a slight noise from rear brake stopped by Ron's Kawasaki they said probably some sand or dust they took it to the shop and well I ended up with new EBC rear brakes installed mine were just about shot the squealer did its job letting me know it was time to replace. Bad thing I have a new complete set at the house oh well they are not eating anything LOL

So its been over a year, how are those pads holding up? I'm going to need new rears soon.

You might want to check out this thread, as soon as I got home from my region rally last year I took them off, and threw them in the trash. They would probably be ok for some, but if you want to ride aggressive in the mountains, they're not for you.

I to tried the Kelvar a couple years back and really did not care for them, along with organics. HH Sintered is what I have and will remain with.

But still I have not tried the Ceramic yet ?
