Newly Made Pipes

I finished making these pipes for the Meanie yesterday.

My db meter shows that they're 10-12 db quieter than the V&H baggers with the ultimate baffles.

They're 1 3/4" headpipes with the bent/curved pipes welded on.

I made 2 baffles by taking a pipe reducer and welding a fender washer on the small end, then I drilled 2 - 1/2" holes on each small end of the reducer, on the round part, at 90 degree intervals, so there are 8 - 1/2" holes to make it work like a baffle.

Them while riding I discovered that the front pipe drags a little earlier than the floor board.

So, now I get to shorten them.

DUDE! That Thing looks Awesome! Shoot us some bigger pics! I love my Nomad, but this is definite consideration if someone was wanting to go with a lighter bike. Looks like a definite lower center of gravity.
