My own Iron Butt Ride

Well I did 205 miles in one day in the STP (Seattle to Portland) bicycle ride.

While I know 17 hours (including breaks) on a bicycle ride does not match Gene's (Wanderer) Coast to Coast accomplishments this 59 year old (on the right in the pic) still felt proud.

10,000 riders make the ride about 1,000 of them do it in one day, and I guarantee you about 95% of them are younger than me.

This is my last IBR on a bicycle, I am looking forward to 2 wheels with a stronger engine

Two thoughts. First, congratulations! Heck of an accomplishment, no matter what age. Second, you're certifiably crazy. :)

That is a great accomplishment you deserve to be proud.
Like the others, I will stick to 2 wheels with a motor.

WOW, I can't imagine what that would be like. Changed my mind, I could imagine, and it's not pretty.
Congratulations! Definitely not for everyone.

I haven't been on a bicycle since I was in high school . When I see guys/gals on the highway in the middle of nowhere I think to myself that's a huge accomplishment .

I congratulate you !!!
