RALLY COMPLETED

All of us in the region were happy with the turn-out we had for the North Central Regional Rally this year. Twenty bikes... twenty-five people from Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and N. Carolina.

I was a great group of people, who were also (as it turns-out) great riders, and a pleasure to ride with.

We hope fun was had by all.

21 and a wake-up, I am pumped! I have been doing a little riding in preparation for long days in the saddle. Looks like we will have a nice turnout for the Regional and sure hope that we have some nice Midwest June weather. See ya all soon

My plans are still taking shape and it looks like I won't need the room I have reserved in Savanna - will ride down from WI on Friday morning.

Was expecting to have my favorite passenger along but that isn't going to work out.

I don't know a way to 'pass' the reservation to another person but will try it if anyone wants to reach me in the next couple of days. -Cal

In case I've over looked it, I'll ask,
Is there any Fee or Dues we will need to pay to cover any rally costs? e.g. Group dinner, etc?

There are no fees/charges due to the "Region" for dinners or attending the rally; since all expenses incurred by those attending will be their own responsibility.

Both dinner gatherings will be from the menu, so you pay for whatever you do, or do not order...

With a smaller group it was felt this easiest to do.... Besides if you ever saw Rayski eat you wouldn't want to have to cover any portion of his bill!

1 week to go... can't wait!

I was hoping my buddy and my "guest" (Toby) could roll into Savanna in time to head over to the museum with the group doing so, but think we will be a couple hours behind for that... and don't want to be late for the 6:00 meet / greet at Poopys.

So, anyone want to recommend any local shorter routes we could take assuming we have time to kill once we get into the area?
