HD headlight on a Nomad??

Wondering if the 7" HD headlght assembly would fit on the Nomad? I'm interested in changing the entire assembly out and wondered if the mounting was similar etc..??

It's all according to which model HD head light assembly you use and whether or not you have fairing or not, actually a lot of variables.

What is your goal here? Are you after an LED headlight or what? If the brighter light is what you are after just buy an LED bulb with the 1157 base and it will plug right into your wiring and if you buy a double ste foe automotive use you can split the cost with another bike owner , I got into mine that way and and while the high low bulb setup was around 65 dollars for each of us, it didn't affect the operation of the HLR unit and the high beam light is only on when it's supposed to be, love the white light it puts out and I can see better and farther with it. Hope this helps.

Actually what I'm after is the ability to put an extended chrome bezel visor that looks as though only available for the HD.

I just bought two LED H4 bulbs for my VStrom from Cyclops Adventure Sports while attending a bike show at Ocean Shores last week. They are complete with the connector and the driver. I've decided not to use them on the Strom but instead on my Harley and Nomad. I assume that the Nomad uses an H4 bulb.

I have a extended 1950's truck headlight visor in my chrome headlight ring, but of course I'm also running 1950's caddy lenses on my rear turn signals also. I also cut down a headlight visor for my speedo also....
You can adapt anything to anything if given the knowhow, the want and the drive to make it happen. Anythings possible!

Not wanting to hijack this thread but Caddy taillights for turn signals sounds very interesting. Got some close up pics to share?
