Howdy... In two more weeks, I'll be turning in the final number and menus for the Finale Dinner in Custer. If you plan to attend the Custer Rally and plan on attending the Finale Dinner Thursday evening and you haven't posted your menu selection, please do so asap!

Here are the menu totals that I calculated today. Check your listing and let me know in the next two weeks if there are any changes or additions.

The cost of the meal including tax and tip is $34.50 per person. This price includes nonalcoholic drinks.
There will be a cash bar (meaning you pay extra for any alcoholic drinks) on the deck for those who wish to have spirits.
Our group will have a bartender and servers.

Dinner salad and fresh bread will be served before the main course. Here are the entrees to select from:

Entree #1: Bar b qued chicken
Chicken quarter, skin on (no breading) grilled and drizzled with a sweet/smoke sauce
Warm potato salad
Corn on the cob
Hearty baked beans (this is a mixture of the larger lentils)

Entree #2: Ribeye steak
10 ounce rib eye steak, grilled to guest’s request
Warm potato salad
Corn on cob
Hearty baked beans

Entree #3: Sock Eye Salmon
8 ounce Salmon Filet, grilled
Topped with a fresh citrus salsa, drizzled with a beurre blanc sauce
Apple wild rice pilaf
Grilled Asparagus

Unfortunately I don’t think Gene has healed up enough to be back in the saddle. I think his hip still has a way to go before he can ride. I certainly hope he is able to make it to Custer by whatever means of transportation.
