Keep checking the ads on here. I would also check eBay although you will probably not find a Nomad at that price. You will probably be looking at $5,000 plus as the low figure.

May have been a Drifter at one time but it sure looks like a Nomad now. Yes, I can see the bolts on the rear fender, etc.

Sorry, I didn't know it was a video. (Insert embarrassed smiley here)
After watching the video I guess it is a Nomad. The dogbowl threw me off. It is exactly like the one on my Drifter.

4K for a 2002 ish is a fair price... I mean the bike in 2002 cost about $10-11K... Thats a pretty fair return.. About 2 years ago I wanted a Yamaha Venture and I was seeing 99s and 00s for $4000-$6000....

I sold aKawasaki Mean streak 02 in 2010 for $3600...

$4K seems fair... for a 10 year old...

I bought an 2002 Nomad for $4000 last fall.
The plan was to convert it into a trike.
Our plans have changed and I'll be selling it.
I thought $4000 was and is a fair price.

The longer the type of bike generally goes makes a difference in price. If you see many 100k mile Nomads of that year still on the road, the 30k mile bike would be worth more than a bike that normally gets trashed at 50k miles. Or if it's a bike that would generally get abused (like a crotch rocket) is worth less (to me, at least) than something like a Goldwing that probably doesn't race around at the rev limiter all that much. Also, maintenance records help with the cost. I bought a '74 or '75 Ford Gran Torino Brougham years ago. It had 90+k on it but the original owner had every single receipt from every oil change, fill up, spark plug change, tune up, etc written in a book with the date, mileage, cost, etc. That proved that he more than kept up on maintenance and that he cared about the car in general. (Who else would list their gas fill ups?) I paid well over market value but that car's still running around today with over 400k miles on it with only minor work. Same car with just basic maintenance (whenever someone got around to it) probably wouldn't get 1/2 that mileage.

Found a 2003 $4500 16K miles.. Vhines, rear luggage, Mustang seat with backrest, powercommander...

Out of the three you describe I'd definately choose the 03, Its the best deal of the three bikes. You'll like the Mustang and the Power Commander, and the 03's have a larger fuel tank and is fuel injected. The 01's may be FI or carbed.

Tank wise mine is 2004 and still has the small tank ( 4.3gal) which is disappointing!!
