Sunday October 12th Hogback Mtn. VT

Will be taking a ride up to Hogback Mtn. in VT and having lunch at Wahoo's Eatery on 2 White's Road, Wilmington, VT 05363.

I'll meet you guys anywhere you that you want. It's north of Greenfield. If Martin goes I would probably meet him out his way. We could then meet up with you in the 91 area? If he's not up to it some exit off 91.

That would work fine. It's 4 weeks away it will give you time to make a rout. By then it probably would be dark by 6:30 and with that comes cooler weather. Nice to have the hard bags can carry a variety of cloths.

Just looked at the restaurant info again. It may be closed. Might have to pick a different place to eat up there. I'll see what's up there and come up with an alternative place to eat.

11.5 miles north of Hogback Mountain on Rt. 100 is Dot's Restaurant. The menu isn't bad.

Evan, any idea on how any miles we'll be riding or a route that we'll be doing?

Hey Neil, I have not looked at it to much. I think I need to decide where to meet you and Martin. If I meet you guys in charlton vs deerfield we would go the eastern rout and perhaps come back on the western side of 91. If I meet you in deerfield then we can ride the western side first then come back on the eastern side almost the same rout we did that day into Vt a few weeks ago. I'll think about it and map both routs see which one works the best for us. If we can start early maybe 10-11 am we can get the whole ride in before it gets dark and need to look out for bambie. Give me a few days but I'm thinking it's a 200 miler forsure and then another 70 or so for you. Any suggestions let me know

The foliage will be in full bloom and it will probably be our last long ride unless the weather stays warm.
