Glad your having a safe trip and enjoy the rest of your ride. Look forward to seeing you in Antlers.

My wife has had her car a little over a year. Front and rear bumpers have already been repaired. Front bumper was our daughter, back was my wife.

Safe riding to you Scott... but most of all... enjoy the ride!

It is trips like this that are the best; but never come around near often enough!

When you get close to OKC be careful. I40 from Yukon to I44 isn't the best road, anyway it wasn't great the last time I was on it. Once your past I44 your on the new crosstown and it's nice. I'm superslabing it when I leave. I40 to Indian Nations turnpike but I'll be a day late and a dollar short. Ride safe and I'll see you in Antlers

I won't be taking the turnpike, I'll go south on 35 to Purcell, then over to Ada and Atoka. We don't have toll roads in my area and I prefer to not deal with them.

At the gas station in Vaughn today there was an older gent riding a green mean streak. He struck up a conversation with me while in the store. He said he was riding from Gilbert AZ, (which is very close to where I live) to Vidalia Missouri. He left the station a few minutes before me and I never saw him again. He must have taken 54 up to I-40 and I continued down 60. He seemed surprised that I knew what kind of bike he had.

I've never been that way I usually take 40 to 177 and down to Ada. Be carful there's a lot of construction south of Moore. The good new your going to pass two Harley dealerships. One at 40 and Rockwell and one in Moore. I think its on 35 and 4th street. If it would have been a half of a mile north it would have been taken out by the tornado.

Fort Thunder H-D is in Moore. I stopped there last year on my way home from Antlers. It is the only dealer in the OKC area open Sundays.

Service isn't open Sundays. They can't sell bikes on Sundays either.

I made it to Antlers, rode through about 10 miles of thick fog outside of Amarillo and fought a 30 mph headwind into Oklahoma City. Warm and humid here in Antlers.

Can't sell bikes? Why?

Glad you made it there okay. Wish I could have ridden there myself. Post some pics if you can and let us know when you are headed back.

There was a sign as I walked in the dealership stating that it is against Oklahoma law to sell, trade or even discuss the sale of motor vehicles on Sunday.

Seems weird to me too. They can sell them in AZ on Sundays.

I can see the logic. The car and MC dealers need one full day per week to confess their sins from the other 6 days!
