I mis-spoke... The prevailing winds were at 30, with gusts up to 60.

So it was a bit more windy than I said.

Tim, if you ever come to my state you have to give me a heads-up, so I can at least show you that the entire state of Illinois isn't flat!

Can you prove you won't fall off the edge?

Those that have never been to the flat-lands believe that might happen!

We don't tell them that they won't!

Last two days have been great riding weather.
Michigan is an awesome state to ride motorcycle in.
We are going to ride through Erie Pa tomorrow and head home.
About 380 miles left of trip. Forcast is for cooler weather but no rain. Should be home by tomorrow night.

Big rain coming from behind you out of the northwest. Don't know if it will keep its strength to make it to you.

Keep your eyes behind your back... and ride safe!

Well we made it home tonight 380 miles.
Knew the rain and storms were coming in from behind us so we wanted to make it home today.
Oh yeah , I did hit a deer on the way home

I never saw it till my front tire hit its ass. All that happened to me was my front wheel wobbled about 3 times and straightened out.
Cindy said the deer spun in the road a couple times and dragged it self off to the side, I think I broke its hip or hind legs. I didn't even stop. Some guy in a pickup stopped so we just continued on our way.
I do know if a deer decides to dart into your path there is no time to react. The only thing I saw was a brown flash and then the wheel wobbled.
I sure dodged a bullet today
