HOME! Arrived home this weekend with 2015.5 Miles total for the trip.

Fuel Economy:
Speed 60-65 = 44 mpg
Speed 70-75 = 38 mpg

Mechanical Items:
Blew one of the Auxillary H3 bulbs on my trip out. Replaced with a spare.

Definitely for my next long adventure I'm going to add a BrakeAway Throttle Lock, could have used it after the 400 mile mark on those flat highways.

AirVenture was fantastic, and a great show. Below is a link to some photos that highlight the trip.

Also, the Lake Express Ferry, while expensive, was totally worth it. Met a great group of motorcyclists there that swear by it's reliability and how nice it is to avoid the Gary IN, Chicago IL area. After the ride, I can attest to that. Smooth and very fast! A few photos are in the link above too.

Also, my total route as recorded by my SPOT Tracker. I have yet to download the route from my Zumo660. I'm sure that will have better info for me to review.

Glad to hear you had a great trip, and really glad you opted for the ferry (despite its expense).

You could have stopped-by my place on your way back home for a break. You went right my house.

Great pics also. Oshkosh is always a great time.
