Mena is a small town and it's the largest in the area.
So there isn't a lot to do there. If you've never been to Hot Springs it worth riding over there. It's about 90 miles depending on the route. Ride north on 71 to Y city then ride east on 270 to Hot Springs. Check out bath house row or the casino. There is a nice museum on the west side of town. Then have some lunch before heading back. Coming back turn onto Ark 88 in Pencil Bluff and ride it back to Mena. If you like to have a drink be sure to pick some up somewhere along the way. Polk county is dry. If you want some more info on roads to ride let me know. Hope this helps.

Try The Chopping Block for lunch. The food is excellent.
