>> KawaNOW Forum now ad-free <<

Due to your generosity in donating to KawaNOW, I now have the opportunity to make the KawaNOW forum ad-free.

I have purchased enough credits with ProBoards to last about 3 months. Depending on how many page views we have, we might be able to continue after that. ProBoards handles the ad-free option a little differently than most forums.

To be ad-free, credits must be purchased ($1.00 = 1 credit). 7 credits is worth 50,000 page views. Since I really don't know how many pageviews KawaNOW has everyday (I'm estimating 1,000 or more) , it's hard to tell how long 7 credits will last but if my math is correct, we should be able to last 50 days on 7 credits. I'll purchase more credits when needed.

Also, I have set the admin preference that the forum is only ad-free when a member logs on, not when a Guest views the forum. This way, only members that login get the benefit and pageviews are not used on Guest views.

Many of you have been kind enough to donate to KawaNOW over the last few months and for this, I thank you and KawaNOW thanks you.

Trip

Some of those ads were quite unique depending on the topic you were looking at the time.

Actually the ads never bothered me and it was amazing how whatever topic you were reading about, the ads usually were close to the topic.

Now take television for instance. If we could only get it ad free. Like that is ever going to happen. If you ever watch a NASCAR race you see more ads than racing or so it seems to me.
