It may be too cold from here on...

I went out riding for a couple hours today for what may likely be my last time for this season.

Temp says 54 degrees and was sunny; but the wind-chill felt far colder. Too cold in fact for my taste in comfort. And besides, the deer are starting to move a lot around here with hunting season having started -- so the possibility of a deer-strike has increased tremendously.

It doesn't look like things are going to improve before the snow flies here in Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin.

You "Southerners" have fun this winter!!!

Im still riding so far, its been in the mid 20's the last week or so in the evenings when I come home. I just came home from deer hunting a few minutes ago and the deer around here will be really moving at the end of the month. Thats when they rut here, and there are a few hit almost every night. I just keep an extera close eye open this time of year.

Hey Daryl, I'm with you brother. Give me four good seasons instead of what they experience down south. I'm not going to stop riding until they pry my cold fingers from the grips right after I slide down the driveway on snow.

remember,,,,no bugs

I rode a ladder today installing pvc siding for my first and last time. Weather was fit for riding the Nomad though. First salt will get me.

As to that dammned siding, never again will I work with that crap.

I like that term Greg, "Deer Strike". I've been using Deer/Motorcycle Collision. What a mouth full!

"Deer Strike" gets to the point of what happens... because after all... a deer hits you -- rather than the other way around!

I don't know of anyone yet that has intentionally chased-down a deer to try to hit it... if you know what I mean... and I DO believe you of all people know what I mean!! ;)
