Switchback turn signals
I think I've mentioned before about my project to put "switchback" turn signal bulbs behind clear lenses on the front of my Voyager?
It wound up being more work than I'd bargained for, since the only clear lenses I could find were for the Vaq, and I learned that they're sized smaller than Voyager turn signals. But thanks to Jay's (jestephens) donation of a complete set of Vaq turn signals, and then a bit of extra expense converting the other four lights up front to LED so the color matched - the job's all done. I've gotten around to taking a short video to show the result...

The lights look bright in the video. Do they make much of a difference or is it just so that other drivers see you coming?

Looks really good, I've had switch backs since they first came out, I really like them a lot, but mine are a little bluer than my spots and headlight. When I bought them, they were advertised to be 6000K (which is the color of my spots and headlight), but I think they are more along the line of 7~8000K.
HwyRider, mine are not as bright as the spots and headlight, but they are pretty bight. The difference is about the difference of headlights and fog lights on a pickup 4X4. They do make you a little more visible, and to me, that is the point.
