One thing I will say though is how good it felt to walk into my bank the other day and pay off my bike loan..... The title is now on it's way home where it belongs....!

The elation will be short lived however. Mama wants a new....make that a low mileage "certified pre-owned"....car to replace her 2003 Honda Accord Coupe...... I'm leaning towards an Infiniti G37 Sedan with around 20k miles....those things are bad ass. We test drove the G35 Coupe before buying the Honda back in 2003, but at the time, it was a tad spendy. 320+ hp and a killer exhaust note. Drives like a real sports car...hell.....it is one!

Kris, let's not get carried away. It's not a sports car. It is is a sport sedan. Nice car though. I rented one in Florida a couple years ago. It's solid in the turns and you're up and past 100 before you know it.

Real cars have a proper V-8. There's nothing like a v-8 in full song with a nice exhaust. Everything else is just hot air. Instead of the Nissan, he should get her a Mustang GT. There ya go. Put some flowmaster mufflers on it and enjoy the music.

Schoeney, still working out my plans too so we can just keep each other informed for now. My "sort of" plan/hope is to get over to the coast via a zig zag route to include some wine country and connect with the PCH about Monterey. I hope to ride south thru Malibu then head east on 40 or 10. Want to see Joshua Tree NP and if he's in country my grandson (USMC) at Twenty Nine Palms. Then will hammer down to Eureka Springs. When you gonna pick up them eastern states? Be happy to show you the interesting parts of the Confederate ones!

True enough Stan, true enough. I stopped by to check one out today...the technology in cars nowadays is light years ahead of when we purchased the Accord in 2003. My only real issue is the 20 mpg hwy and 18 mpg city ratings. That kinda sucks (literally). For all the new technology, you'd think they could do a lot better than that and still provide that snort up the nose feeling. Uhhhh....I've read about people who know what that feels like....!

I think the better comparison would be your Beloved Seahawks and the Super Bowl Champion Patriots.
