nomads on ebay

i noticed there are a couple of nomads now on ebay. i hope they dont belong to any of our members but may mean some new meat will becoming our way, it will be interesting to see what they fetch to give the rest of us an approx value. i bought mine on ebay but have never seen any others pop up until now.

I have a mate looking for one at the moment as the last 2008 haqs been sold and he realy had his heart set on one.

Eds is a mate of mine he will be coming on the Castlemain ride with us he has a 2008 Nomad
another mate Ron also with a 2008 Nad will be coming as well

great i am looking forward to seeing the differences over the 10 years since mine was produced. i have to get some of mine painted as i lost a pannier last night and it got a little scratched up, boy these things are hard to get paint for.

How did it actually come of not sure about the 1999 Nad but mine is held in by 2x10m bolts.
and slots into a rubber holder at the bottom yours would be the same I suppose.

i had taken the panniers off to remove the rear chrome rack and pillion backrest, but when i put them back on i managed to only bolt on one of the panniers thus leaving the other sitting in its tabs. one large bump later and all hell broke loose. i sure wont make that mistake again.

another few have just popped up, one has just been sold, an 01 with 91,000 on the clock sold for $10,950. the other one has a few days to go.

Rick has already started adding to his 06 I was around at his house on Sunday and he had a big box of bling he was adding to the Nad new grips, throttle lock,dutch bypass,K&N air filter and he has ordered his back rack and pannier racks so he is not mucking around.

both bikes sold. the one with 91,000 ks went for $10,950 and the other identical one with 30,000 ks went for $9,000 its easy to see which buyer got the better deal....

was that the bike from murchison was it finky? its good to hear he is getting into it already.

Thats the one Jammie.looks different already and certainly sounds better after the goats belly removal and baffle removal today.
