Just doesn't make sence when you compare the two profiles.
Wrong !! It has almost twice the contact area as a bike tire, when leaned over. Go to youtube, and chose dark side riders. and you will see the difference.

Yep seen the vids, pretty much convinced and as mentioned before will be giving a CT a try soon.

You guys have actually persuaded me to try a CT. Having raced sport bikes in the past I used to look at CT tires on bikes and laugh but you guys have made some interesting observations and sound theories. Even if I don't run one I will not be as quick to judge on the matter.

Going to need a new tire soon. Might as well give it a shot. I have spent more money on ideas that were WAY crazier before.

Yeah, good to hear. Give it a shot and if you don't like it there is nothing that says you have to stick with it.....I was hooked as soon as I took my first ride on mine!

I left the dark side for a short time due to a wobble that was contributed to in part by a ply separation on a 205/60-16 Yokohama. I have my next CT in our back room waiting to mount. Still have a little wear to go on my (temp.) skinny MC tire.
