I know you like Colt 1911's Mac. I received this Colt Stainless Gold Cup National Match today to transfer to a customer. He had the winning bid of $960 on Gunbroker.com. The guy that sold it to him must have needed the money. This could easily sell for $1800. No flaws whatsoever.

thats a real collector's gun Mitch. I had a Gold Cup 1911 Match with comp sights in blue steel. Thats a real beauty

Did you happen to have a detailed look at the chamber mouth? Do you think it will eat flat semi wad cutters? My Govt Mod Rem-Rand will, and it will eat anything since it eats them.

My little girl Kimber is a fussy eatter and likes mil ball and flyin ash trays, but that's what ya git when ya got a female gun.

So far my only venture into plastic frames is a EEA Witness. It works something like a colt and has a colt sorta feel controlls wise, but it's kinda fat with a dual stack mag. It was as close to a glock as i can stand.. I don't think I will grow to like the way a glock works. There is nothing wrong with them, but I am too old school.

I was showing a glock guy the kimber and he flipped off the saftey and said your hammer let off is broken! Had the gun been loaded, I would have gone nuts! I was also confused since I don't think any glock has a hammer. Aren't they all striker pin fired?

me too, but then it would end up like Miss Kimber. She lives a prissey little life, mostly staying home, avoiding the sun, wind, rain and snow, She never comes out to play when I work on the cars, bikes, or bob cat.

About the only times are 2 twice a year for testing a round of mags, and if i have on my Mule Ear Boots.

Mule ear boots to me are all dressed up to you guys. Thats as fancy dressed as I git!

The rest of the time I wear rags for work, and or go more than half naked, with more paint on than any 2 of your wifes can wear in a year. (terrible visual on that, but I can't help you guys don't gimmie the boot)
