Rear Turn Signal Lenses

I want to install modified '59 Caddy lenses on my new to me '14 Nomad. I had done this on my '06 Nomad and '00 Venture. I had to cut down the length to fit the housing. Much to my surprise the '14 lenses are fused/glued to the innards of the light that hold the bulb. Anybody have any ides how they can be separated? Seems crazy that if you broke a lens you'd have to buy the whole guts and lens as a unit.

It's not a simple lens cover... A few of us have swapped them out for clear or smoked lenses, and it wasn't cheap to do so. "Lights4all" is a German company who used to provide the only clear / smoked lenses for 1700's I'm aware of - and they don't seem to carry them any more. Good luck with your conversion though, it'll be a nice challenge for you

I have the lenses. What I need is a stock signal housing with lense in tact to figure out how to separate the two without wrecking the housing.

Im sorry I cant recall where... but I saw a post about this issue and what a few people have done is just buy new turnsignals from Ebay with the same stem size. Im considering this myself because for whatever reason the yellow ones in the rear drive me nuts! LOL
