I sold my 04 Goldwing this week and will be getting a 1300 V Star Tourer very soon.
Only mod needed will be an ECU reflash.

My Voyager (2013) is tucked away in the garage for the winter. Quite honestly at my age (55) this is probably the last bike I will ever own (I keep things a long time) and i have it set up the away I like it so I don't need to add anything to it. The biggest purchases I will make will probably be buying some updated Butler maps.

Getting ready to retire and made some things that will bolt on and plug in to the Vaquero for camping trips. First run equipment was tested this year and rebuilt. I can tent or Hammock camp (Hammock Preferred). Trailer elimination project went well with a converted Bike rack to use. Weight distribution is good. Plan to film a fast speed = stock to camp load out on uTube soon. Got my Enhanced Drivers license to travel into Canada. Hope the borders are open next year. Plenty of US destinations also. Time to put some miles on this beasty.

Plan to Visit ,Meet and Have a beer with some of you out there.

This is MY plan.

My 2015 Voyager is set up with about all I need. Pioneer marine stereo, Polk Audio amp and 6 1/2 coax Marine speakers, USB power/charging ports, strobing electronics for the headlight for daytime driving, Russell Cycles Daylong seat, Kuryakyn forward pegs, Hitchdoc trailer hitch, CSC Elite Trailer, Trickle charge pig tail, and I have the luggage bags for the saddle bags and trunk. I do want the add LEDs with a flasher for extra brake lights.
Could use a new winter riding jacket.
HOPEFULLY!! next year I won't hurt myself and be able to do my westward ride I wanted to do this year. Tore off the right bicep muscle and that put me off the bike all spring and summer. Being in Alabama, I have ridden the mountains Northeast of home for the last 7 years but I have only seen west of Mississippi on the interstates and in a RV. Wanting to take the side roads across the middle of the country and back through the south end. Middle and northern half the following year. BUTTTTTT, no offence guys, I have no desire to visit the eastern states above WV. I've got to stay healthy and not hurt myself doing the young mans stuff. Getting older is hard to except.

Man that hurts my heart. I love it that we can ride year around. Yes it gets cold here and we will have some ice in the mornings but most put the gear on and go.

Winter plans will be to put new Dunlop American Elites on, if Dunlop ever gets any produced, been on back order all fall. Not sure on 2022 rides yet, but have been contemplating a trip to Niagra Falls.
Mbarr, jealous about you retiring, i've got a few years to work yet.

DAMN STRAIGHT.
FB people do not realize what they miss here. Best advice without a lot of flippant answers and a great data base.

Plan for this winter is to pull the engine out of my 1600 Classic and install the Mean Streak gearset, heads, throttle body, and other mods. Next spring I'll have a fresh stronger 1600, with my frame mounted fairing installed (which also includes the Vaquero gauge set), GPS, stereo, LED lights. Plus I'll get the Nomad hard bags installed, along with the tail trunk, I'll have a great one of a kind full dresser. Hopefully next season I'll have a bike worthy of a picture thread to highlight all the engine, chassis, brakes, fairing etc changes.

Been trying to get a rear tire installed for weeks. Main dealer I use had a fire and has shut the service dept and the next closest one has a waiting list of almost 6 weeks to install a tire! Other than that I have not plans but to ride. I did get a front/rear camera system as a gift last year, may have a go at that.
