Vance &hines for 21 vaquero

Ok, So Im told by Vance and hines , that slip ons wont work for the 21 vaquero. Apparently something is differrent, yet, the exhaust ( stock) part numbers are the ame right up to 21. I did see a guy omewhere on line saying he had to buy/do something different to make them work on his 21, but ive lost that link. Does anyone have any idea whats different, or has anyone done it/
TIA.

The only thing the v&h slip ons don’t come with is an o2 bung,I made one from a metric nut, drilled muffler and welded it on and works perfect

You don't need an O2 bung after you've added the essential modification - having Ivan reflash the ECU.
