Well it is not a Grass Hopper but it works for me....
It took me about 6 total hours to make this so IMO it turned out pretty good.... Now my next project is to make a tank bib kinda like the ones PH Customs make but I'm sure it will not be a nice looking as theirs ;) ... I want to design it to where towards the bottom it kinda flares out some instead of straight down so as it helps protect rub marks made by Jeans or boots from drunk people falling off..."kidding" but you get the point. I guess my question do any of you have something along these lines and if so does it fit well? Currently it is drawn up on paper and if it seems like flaring it out is going to be a pain in the tush then it will go straight down. Thanks

It looks pretty good, how did you make up the mounting bracket?

Here's the bib, chaps and backrest I made. If you want any advise for your bib, let me know. I'm by know means a tailer, but was able to do it.
Here's one I made for my old vn900

I basically used a piece of 2"x3\16" steel that I obtained from Home Depot last year. The rest was done by "eye balling" and marking bend points. I mounted it to the passengers seat. I had to drill holes in the seat and removed the leather to gain access so as I could push 1/4-20 allen head bolts thru. So far it is working out good. I may make another that will mount to the drivers seat in some fashion but took the easy way out this time...

Sweet... I like to see custom, homegrown work. People down know how much thought goes into some of these handy-works.
