I have the wires come out the left side behind the riders seat and the controller is right there on velcro. I use Warm and Safe gloves and jacket liner.

Correct TopCat, she ride on the back. Offered to try teaching her to ride the 800 when we got the Voyager, but she wasnt interested, said she'd kill herself, didnt push the subject.

Some people should not ride motorcycles. If she is comfortable on the passenger seat then you are luckier than a lot of guys whos wife show no interest in motorcycles at all.
Cindy rode on the back of mine for 3 years until we went to Americade
She said, look at all the women with their own bikes, I could do that.
She took the bike course and bought a 2008 750 Shadow that year.
Out grew that and bought a 2010 900 Kawasaki LT.
In the winter of 2013 at a dealers where I wanted to check Victorys she saw a Boardwalk and loved it. Bought it in early 2014
She is my wife, best friend and riding buddy
