I mentioned to him that with some Nomad saddle bags he could pretend he upgraded to a Nomad!

I think Dwain, (why does that have to be his name?) Harley Guy, needs to be on this sight. He went everywhere we did but he did it at a disadvantage -- no windscreen! (You guys thought I was gonna say Harley!) Anyone who can go through that hell heat without a windshield has my respect. Not only that but his brother is a valuable member here.

I asked him and he said he gets on our site to see what going on. If we can have Oldbiker who now has a Road Glide, why not Dwain?

Any comments?

As far as I'm concerned, Dwain has earned his wings with this group. He rode through hell with us and lived to tell about it. Even though he rides a non-Nomad, his older brother is a senior member here, shouldn't that make him a legacy member, like in a fraternity? Maybe someday he'll realize he should have had a Nomad all along ::)

IMO, there's no reason he can't post here as a guest, having been sponsored by an active memberand Nomad Owner in Good Standing. (AG)

But If he wants to be a real member he has to buy a Nomad or at least honestly profess that intention.

Otherwise, I have Mac's old Nomad emblems. We could pull the H-D logos off Dwain's tank and glue on the Vulcan chrome emblems and make his bike an honorary Vulcan.
