From John Dyer on facebook.....One week from today we'll kick off the SW Region Rally with an invigorating ride up Mt Graham. It'll be the shortest ride of the rally, allowing for a later start, and earlier return, since some will have ridden a considerable distance to get there. Tuesday we'll take on the Devil's Hiway (once numbered U.S. 666) which will include some fantastic mountain forest, after riding by one of the largest and productive copper mines in the nation, in significantly cooler temperatures, along with a little of New Mexico before returning through some mountain prairie ranchlands . Wednesday will be the trip to Tombstone, for some historic sightseeing. I hope everyone who can possibly make it is looking forward to it as much as I am!

He should update this page. Not everyone looks at both or either the FB page and/or this one. The other thing is that rallies usually have a detailed itinerary with scoot maps.

I don't have time for it this year. I might make a day trip to one of the SW rides as I am 2.5 hours away, but that's it for now.

Sad to say, I don't see a whole lot of interest in this. I was hoping there would be at least a fair turnout.

Wishing all riders a great time at this rally, be sure to drink plenty of water as it is going to be very hot.

Bob that's the reason I started Various Baggers on FB. Our side of the country will never be considered and after our first get together we no longer really care. We are a close nit group that will ride year after year. We know how to discuss and plan rides, discuss ideas and not dictate the location based on proximity to the organizers.

I live in Southern Cali and I'm riding to Montana snd I started Various Baggers. I wouldn't have the nerve to pick San Diego as a destiny. I want everyone to attend. Montana had the best draw for attendance this year so I'm riding 2400 miles RT.
