James et'al, yep, there are a couple of other sites with a more local flavour, but dont have the "NOMAD" feel. Thats why I'm poppin back every now and again. Keep smiling you guys!!!

Well there is another Aussie here now, there are so many bike related clubs here, that take up one's spare moments.
I also belong to the Ulysses club & have been vey active in it for the past 10 years

Mate, I know you put this call out into the ethernet in Feb but I've only just signed up looking for a more concentrated Nomad group.
I probably won't be really active here but will keep looking around. Still like AKRF and haven't got a lot of time to spread around. I remembered you were heavily involved in this site.

Hiya, Anyone got suggestions for aussie saddle bag sites? I've been trying to get a set of viking bags sent over there.. Only found 1 site, http://www.motorcyclehouse.com.au/mo...s-panniers.htm . Anyone have experience with em?
