Trouble finding a rack for 2003 Nomad 1500

I have a trunk that I want to put on my 2003 Nomad 1500 but am having a heck of a time finding a rack for it, other than the Wompus, which is a bit expensive. I have looked on ebay, google, amazon but cannot find anything that will fit. Does anybody know where I can find a less expensive one?

Thanks

Wompus makes the only purpose-built rack for mounting a trunk on these bikes.

I have a stock OEM rack and passengers backrest that came off my 2002 Nomad.. I had an inexpensive trunk box mounted to it once apon a time.. But it was less than satisfying. Your best bet is to spend the extra money for the Wompus Rack. PM me, if your interested in the OEM rack..

Utilizing the stock rack with very minimal modifications. Several hundred miles on it with the wife on the back with no issues at all.
