BD's Bafflectomy - Just Completed

Just finished the Bafflectomy, no issues, took about 5 minuets. Sound is just what I was looking for, not to loud not to soft, just right! I nice low rumble.

1 3/4 bi-metal hole saw, 2 4" tapered, 97 cents [at Home Depot], chair legs cut short to the correct size and WD40. A little BBQ high temp paint and I'm good to go.

Everything else is stock on bike and no resulting ping from the change.

I'm a happy camper.

Ya it's an easy way to make the sewing machine sound go away... I also found the sound to be lower, wish it was a few db louder though...

It does make them sound a little more like a beast on the prowl. Glad I did it last August. Also installed the Cobra FI2000R at the same time. The cost is a little more than the debaffle but well worth the $200 or so spent to place it on the bike.

How does it sound at highway speeds? Do you hear loud roar at higher RPM? I pulled baffles out of a 4 cyl Suzuki once. The sound was very annoying at highway speeds. It really gets to you after an hour of riding. Put them back after 2 weeks.

I like the sound of mine at highway speeds. It just has a mellow sound.

Debaffled pipes sound great without being obnoxious.
