Who Reload's

I am not talking reloading the Frig with Beer ! Who reloads and what press do you use? I am going to bring my Old RCBS Rock chucker back into service and looking into a Progressive Model! Pro's and Con's on your Model! A low price option I am looking at,for my Pistol's is the Lee Progressive Model. Yes it is a Lee low budget model but I am also low budget lol I will not be doing rifle with the Lee if I get it. It will be for my ..36/357 , 9mm future .45

I use a low end Lee single stage...........just reloading for myself (45 Colt, 9mm, 45ACP, and 308). Your rock chucker is better than what I'm using.

Unless you're loading several hundred rounds, the rockchucker should work fine. That's all I use for rifle and pistol.

Thanks for all the replies.. Yes my Rock Chucker can do anything any size :) But want to go progressive type manual or auto for my handguns, I plan on burning a lot of lead . My sons may also be shooting with me as well :), I will be building a small pistol rang this spring. A nice large hill as a secondary back stop ,500 Acre behind that all trees :) Plus I am on the high side of the Mtn.. Primary back stop will be Rail Road ties the 8" think ones.About . 30 yard shots. Love living in the country :)

Most of my stuff is RCBS, and now about 30 years old as well, but no issues. Got it when I got the .280 so I could load for it.

I got my Rock chucker early 80s. A little beat but works fine, I am thinking of a index or Progressive press to speed things up a tad. I am putting in a Pistol range in the spring! So plan on burning a lot of ammo.. I Plan on using the Rock Chucker as well! Mainly for Rifle full case resizing for my son . But If I can cut a deal I would prefer RCBS

I have two old Herter's single station presses that are used for all my rifle rounds and a Dillon RL550B that is set up with changeable tool heads for all my pistols.

I had a rockchucker and my brother had the lee progressive. It worked, but it wasn't made as well as the RCBS stuff. If I was going progressive, I'd get a Dillon.

I do all my decapping, sizing and priming for all rifle cal. on my Dillon 550 then weigh each powder charge by hand and finish with my RCBS Partner Press. For handgun loads everything is done on the Dillon 550. It is hard to beat Dillon, even more so if you live in the valley of the sun. If anything goes wrong with the press they are right down the road and with a quick fix, free of charge.

LOL lately me too :) At 10$ a box of 9mm Federal 115grn I have been playing with them when the weather gets better, But when I get my range set up Ill be burning at least 300 rounds a month! And with my Grandsons staying over once in awhile I am sure I will be going through a lot more :)

Ponch I agree the Lee is low end, but has a good price RCBS is top shelf (not topcat) :) I do love the Dillion and may go that route depending on cash flow! But I do want either a progressive of a manual indexing press this year! So all opinions good or bad are welcome :)

Thats a deal for us, Ive been looking for some 9mm and most places here are charging about $18.00 box plus taxes @ 13%.
I seen some at a gunshow a few weeks ago for $12.00 a box and am kicking myself for not grabbing it. I go through about a 100 rounds each time I go to the range with my Hi Power, plus a couple hundred rounds of .22 in the rifles.
