I have a 04, I would like to replace the original spot lights with LED spotlights any suggestions.

redbrd, could you rephrase your above question, I don't understand what your asking, or maybe, I just haven't had enough coffee yet.

Not sure what he is asking. Think he wants to take the new H3 Bulbs out of the passing lights and put sealed beam lights in.

What type of headlight did you install? Pictures? There are several replacements for the passinglights that will match the color output of the LED headlight. but I dont know of an LED buld swap that you can do. I even have for sale a set of PIAA 530 lights that were so bright compared to the regular headlight I had to change the headlight itself. Look at the attachment. First $100 takes them shipping included. Retails for around $200.00

This is what I have for the spot lamps only with H3 plugs. http://canadiancruisercustomizing.ca...ot-light-bulbs. And this is what's in the headlight. http://canadiancruisercustomizing.ca...-one-headlight.

I run a HID headlight and I'm seriously considering this style of LED headlight. The only reason I haven't is when I went to HID (5~6 years ago), the LEDs couldn't put out enough light back then for night ridding, I'm wondering if the technology has improved enough now? My spot lights are Custom Dynamics "Sun Spots" 6000K (LED) and super bright, and they replace the standard par 36 style bulbs. I looked a little while ago, and they only make them in amber now.
Let me know how your bulb does at night, because I do prefer the LEDs over HID, I've already had to replace my ballast, and my color is starting to fade down toward the 5000K color range.

Very interesting! When I was looking for a LED headlight I dont think that these bulb replacements were available. I cant wait to see how much light they throw out for you.

LED's are definitely plug-and-play I haven't had chance to try them at night as the bike went into the shop for a clutch spring the next day, but it definitely looks bright in the daytime.

LED Lights

Do you have picture of your bike showing your lights? Interested in how it looks.
