Hi folks, new member here in Mass. I took delivery of a brand new 08 Nomad last October. I also have a souped up 02 VN1500 Meanstreak, and have been riding since early 2003. The quintessential tinkerer, if it ain't broke I've got to fix, mess with, upgrade and fabricate for it. I'm a Machinist/Welder(MOS44E/44B) in the Mass Army National Guard, and also spent 3 years supporting F-15's out of Otis ANGB on the cape in the Air Guard under the same Career Field.

As to my Nomad, fairly embarrassed to say I've only managed to put 381 miles on it, but the season has finally started, and we're going to have to do something about that. Current mods include Kuryakyn offset dually pegs, ISO grips, hard bag quick disconnects, Cobra True Dual Slash downs, and a Dobeck TFI unit.

Looking forward to being a part of the Kawanow Nomad Community and learning from those who've been doing it longer than I.
