hello mate, your work looks great, but aint that going to be in the way of the rear floor boards and the passengers legs, ok for solo rides i know, have you thought about a set of front chaps with a bottle holder and pocket on the left so it can be reached without letting off the throttle, and a large storeage pocket on the right for easy access to stuff like brochures, bar menu,s and other things that we collect on the road, i would buy one ! all the best, Mick.

Pockets and bottle holders can be put on chaps easily. If you want a set, just pm me. This still works with the passenger footboards in place too.

You got me drooling for a set already Bama! Here are the pics of the Voyager's Bag guards - not much different than what you have . . . They are about 10" from bottom of rails to top and have about 6.5-7" of space along the top rail . . .

They are almost replicas of my bag guards! The bottle holder is 6"wide, so it should fit with no problem. Do you want a bottle holder on 1, and pocket on the other?

Before I get in too deep, how much are ya selling them for? I am looking at ordering 1 left side bottle, 1 right side bottle for when the boy rides with me and 1 right side pouch for when I ride solo . . . Can ya post up a pic of the pouch one?

These look awesome - you have no idea how long I've been looking for something like this! (hint - I got the Voyager in July 2011)

Harley sells theirs for $90 but their prices are way too high for my wallet. Based on time to create and materials, I can sell the bottle holder for $40 and the pocket for $20. I will be selling for higher on eBay. If these prices seem to high (anyone), let me know. They are forum member prices. I should be able to post a pocket pic tomorrow.

I hate to ask about some thing else in your thread about your chaps. But I have been hunting for a while for a tank bib for my 1500. I am looking for one that wraps the end of the tank. I attached a picture of something similar to what I am looking for. So if you have plans to make bibs like these, defiantly let me know.

Gill, you're the 2nd member asking about whale tail tank bibs. My plan is to research them soon. I will let you know if I can make you one. Its not something I plan on mass producing, but I should be able to make you (and the other member) one

Pics of pocket. In the essence of "bigger is better" I created a large (9 inch) pocket and flap. Its big enough for sunglasses, garage opener, wallet, etc. I wanted for it to be big enough for me to reach in and get something at the bottom of the pocket. My while hand fits inside. However, the cost will need to be $25 each. There is approx the same amount of material as 1/2 a set of engine guard chaps and its not a quick process to make em. Bottle holder will still be $40 each.

I wish that the vaquero guards were the same. Would love to be able to store a bottle back there as I don't want a handlebar holder. Jealous! Nice work.
