Upcoming Ride
I am riding in the Cape Fear 1000 Rally April 20-21. It is a 29 hour rally. We will be riding in search of predetermined bonus locations from our starting point in Arcadia, FL on Friday, April 20 at 10:00AM and ending in Wilmington, NC on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00PM. This will be my first 24+ hour rally ride.
I've done a couple 10-12 hour rallies and it is neat seeing things you haven't seen before. This one is a little more serious but all I want to do is finish in one piece and have fun. I'll be riding with an experienced rally rider so we'll be paired up all the way. I'll post a link next week to my SPOT tracker if you want to see where we have been.

You guys crack me up. Hell, I rode 800 miles for lunch and a visit with my son last weekend. It will only be about a 2K weekend

Well, back at the house. Finished the rally in 16th place for our region out of 29 riders. Had one small hick-up with a receipt and had to double back to get a new one and that cost us 4K points in the end. Oh well. The KawaTanker performed flawlessly and I am still in one piece too!
