Wire Runnin' ??

So I have 2 l.e.d. reflector replacements for the front side reflectors. I'll run the wires up the brake line. But what is the best way to connect the wires and make 'em a little less obvious?

Wire Runnin' ??

If you don't like just wire ties you could us wire loom. It is a split flexible plastic hose and you can get it in different sizes from most auto parts stores.

Oooh I like that. Get it big enough to enclose the wire and brake line maybe.

I've used that black plastic loom and it works great, several sizes available.

Wire Runnin' ??

I've encased my throttle cables on the right and some more cables on the left and it looks good. Zipped tied the ends with little black ties to hold tight. Sounds like a good idea. Wally world has them too.

You might still have to put zip ties around the loom, since the brake hoses flex a lot - they move with the front suspension. Just use real small black zip ties and no one will notice.

I made a small "Y" cable. The single end of the "Y" I spliced into one of the running light wires, the double end has a female spade connector on each end. I ran my wires up along the brake hoses behind the chrome cover across the forks and into the headlight bucket. Each wire has a male spade connector on the end and you just plug and play.

I kept the wire to the back of the brake hose and used the spiral type plastic wire wrap no zip ties required. It's a little more of a pain to install than the split loom but works well because of the flexing of the brake hose.
