Our other kids.

These are our Boxers.
Roscoe is 1 1/2 yrs old and he is a handful. But a great dog.
Jamacia is 6, and is very petite. Most think she is a pup when they see her next to Roscoe.
ps. He is a rescue dog. SO many people get dogs and just give them up if things aren't perfect. We love him and thats what matters.

So both are SO lucky! I have wanted a dog for so long! We don't have adequate room for one right now, and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving a dog outside, so I am just out of luck for now. You both have such beautiful pups!!!

What? Like, is there non-standard Schnauzers?

Just kidding. A friend of mine has a pair of giant Schnauzers and they look big enough to eat a car if they caught it.

Beautiful dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey dlarue, don't feel bad about not having a dog now. You are right, If you don't have the room and THE TIME to spend with them, better for THEM if you wait. If you need a 'dog-fix' go to a local animal shelter and ask if you can walk some of the dogs. The dogs will love the human contact and they will be a calmer dog.
One of Roscoe's problems was no active time. We go in the FENCED yard when we get home and play soccer and run run run. They both love it. He was so wired when we got him and it was tons of energy waiting to explode. (Boxers have endless energy. If you aren't up to the task, do not get one.) This is why he acted up so much.
Now he is still a handful, but what a lover.
There are times I would rather be with the dogs instead of people.

You are right... I have the time to be with them... (If I had a dog, you probably couldn't pry em' away from me... they would be with me every moment!!) We just don't have the room. Don't have the room to potty train, and rough house, don't have the room to really make them happy... BUT!! I just keep telling myself that I will get one some day, and that I really CAN wait until then (no matter what I tell my better half!!) Thanks for the tip.. I have actually thought about that, but my boyfriend is terrified to let me near a shelter, or animals period, cause he knows that I will wanna take one home!! I just love em'... what can I say??
