The problem is that it is difficult to load pics for the avatar and sig-pics.

I have just given-up... and I followed every single word of the instructions.

Just saying...

If you followed all the directions in this thread, it will work.

Under your User Control Panel, scroll down to the Settings and Options heading and under that select "Edit Options"
Scroll down to the bottom under Miscellaneous Options and select Standard or Enhanced editor.
Now when you go back to attach your pic to the signature the "Insert Signature Picture" will be there...
At least for me it is now :)

Did all of that so many times and it still doesn't work.

No picture for sig-pic or avatar.

I give up... and "yes" I have the enhance version, have read and re-read, and followed every step of the instructions... and guess what? It still doesn't work.

I am on other forums with v-boards, and I have not had any problems with them.

I give up....

Well... the avatar pic worked this time... what a fool I am. But I promise I did not do anything different this time than any previous time.

But still cannot get a sig pic to work yet.

Click on user CP on red bar near the top. Go down to edit profile picture and select the option to download from your computer. Make sure the picture is not too many Kbs otherwise you would need to change it using a photo editing software.

Mine finally started showing the Avatar and Sig pic the other day, but after spending a couple hours previously on it trying to get it to work, I would have to say it was very unfriendly. Then throw in the smug quips from Admin saying stuff like "what's so hard!" didn't help out my blood pressure any...............

Whoa. I wasn't being 'smug' at all, and I didn't use an exclamation mark. I was simply asking what was so hard...what is it you're having trouble with? That's all I meant by it.

The directions on how to do signature images and avatars has been explained several times over by myself and others in this thread. If you follow them perfectly, it WILL work. There's obviously a step you're leaving out if it's not working.

Here's the instructions again for the sig pic:

And make sure that the enhanced editor is enabled. ( UserCP >> Edit Options >> Misc Options ).

Well I've sized and loaded, sized and reloaded my signature picture, and so far it is not working. This forum is hard to navigate and to understand. We had it good before the change, sure hope/wish I can someday say the same here.

Delete everything take a deep breath and let it out slowly, and start over.
