Heading out of here

Not off the board, just outta town.

Taminator, MikeInFLA and I are riding with a group up to Stockton, AL tomorrow for an MTF RTE (Motorcycle Touring Forum Ride to Eat). The RTE is Wednesday in Stockton at the Stagecoach. Then we will head back to home. Thursday is RTE in Brooksville at the Coney Island place, then Friday down to Hiram's in Sebastian Inlet.

For my break, my mileage total will be somewhere north of 2K, maybe get close to 3K in. Christmas break has been Riding Break for me! That and eating...ugh! Glad I got some big clothes to wear, lol.

Ran into CoachA and the Taminator at The Stagecoach Cafe in Stockton Albama today,,,,,was good to see them - they good folk

Well, Mike didn't end up going on the first leg of the trip.

We are home now from Stockton, AL. Derry and his lovely daughter Allie rode up this morning and we got a chance to visit at the Stagecoach. I will post some pictures tomorrow of our ride up and our visit with Derry. Right now, my fingers are a tad cold still.

When we left on Tuesday, it was 26 degrees. Most of the day it never got above 45. Today it rained a bit as we were leaving from Stockton but it was a bit warmer, low 50's.

If you are ever up near Tallahassee, FL, you need to go to this place. The ride to and from it is awesome and the hot sausage is the real deal!

Glad to see you made it home safe, here's wishing you and tammy a very happy new year, and hoping to do some riding with you guys this year, I have a big job kicking off in jan so I hope that it will be far enough along that I can take off for bike week this year at least thursday and friday of it but its to early to make that call. again happy new year.

Happy New Year to you David. We got leg #2 done today, that was a nice little 60 mile round trip. Got to see Quintin and Wanda again today. His Nomad now has 254,000 miles on it. They rode their Venture down for the Trifecta.

Hope that the job allows you to come down for Bike Week. We miss you and Andrea. Maybe we will get up that way.

Canceled out of Leg #3. It is pouring rain here and I am not feeling wearing my rain gear all day. Oh well, still got in about 1400 miles over break, not too shabby.

The local Harley riders canceled their ride today, but thought the Nomad group was made of tougher stuff. I was counting on lunch at Hiram's :(

There are a bunch of MTF guys going over there. I just didn't want to ride for 7 hours total in rain. The way the radar looks now, it would have been all the way over and then all the way back. If I had touring gear that was rain proof instead of just my rain suit, maybe I would have. Sorry about that Jim.
