Cool looking resort

Some friends of ours stayed here about a month ago. They really like it and the riding area. Don't know what the rates are or anything like that.

Copperhead is about 10 miles from me.

Understand it recently went through foreclosure and was purchased by somebody from Florida.
Haven't been there since all this happened.
Previous owners were a group of contractors from Atlanta area.

Don't know prices now but previously it was extremely high to "join." Join basically meant you could "store" alcoholic beverages on site. Being located in a dry county, can't sell alcohol.

I do know one guy who purchased one of the "park homes" or cabins if you want to call them that, backed out of the sale and last time I talked to him, hadn't got his down payment back which was supposedly part of the sales agreement if done within specific length of time.

It is a neat place. Original owners put a ton of money in it.

I noticed that they have a Club. Didn't realize what the Club entailed. The new owner's must be friends of my friends. I remember Katie and Tom saying that they were staying at a place owned by someone they knew.

I also saw that no prices were on the web page.

Sounds like a place that could really burn your A__! I'll let CoachA run recon on this one. It ain't dangerous enough for me.

I don't remeber thier names ,but someone from the Southern Cruisers out of Florida bought the place after foreclosure about 2 months ago.I'm planning on a weekend trip to check out the place next spring.
