Whoa Nelly..... can't make it that far west by 10am .......... when are you planning to be in the Cherokee area??

Just lookin at the map....a meet up some time in Dillsboro and a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad might be a fun thing to try to get together.

Hey all, I'm planning on going on a ride this weekend if anyone would like to hook-up? My wife, Suzanne, just started riding with me two months ago. This was her first ride in the North Georgia mountains. We trailered the bike from our home in Fayetteville up to our Son's house in Cumming so we wouldn't have to ride through the Atlanta traffic. From there we rode over to Ellijay and met up with Don (JD01) and his wife Pat, Cliff (VulcanE) and Dick (dk dixie.) From there we rode around Carter's lake then up to Chatsworth for lunch. After lunch we rode over Fort Mountain and back to Ellijay. The scenery was really great.

We both met Don (JD01) and his wife Pat for the first time and Suzanne met Cliff (VulcanE) and Dick (dk dixie) for her first time.

The ride was very enjoyable and the company was even better.

We had a wonderful time.

It certainly was a great day for a ride. Temperature was 48 when I left the house but warmed up to mid 70's later. Perfect weather!

Don's great looking 1500. If there's a cleaner 01 around, I'd like to see it.

Pat's Honda Shadow. I believe she said 25,000 on the clock. She handles it well too!!

Great to see Suzanne riding.
I see a trunk/passenger backrest in Bob's future. Suzanne took a liking to Cliff's setup.

Didn't get a picture of Cliff.....I think he was in one of the two rooms in the background.

Great looking Red & Black 08. How did that get in here?

All in all, a great day with good friends!!
