1500 Fork?

I did mine at home, on an 02 bike. Its not that hard at all. I had problems trying to loosen the top allen plug. All it took to loosen was a stronger impact gun. I changed my fork oil because I found that my bike dived more than I wanted it to when applying the front brake. They come with 10 weight oil from the factory, I used 15 weight oil when I changed it. Next oil change I'll try 20 weight as I still find it softer than I would prefer it to be. Your bike like mine has cartridge style forks, 14k seems a little soon in my mind but it won't hurt to do it now. If you combine this with changing a front tire or greasing the bearings in the steering neck youll kill a few jobs in one swoop.
