driveshaft seals

where is the best place to get them? what else will i need? i will be doing my rear tire shortly and i want to have everything on hand. thanks for the help.

I bought mine from www.bikebandit.com but I think www.cheapcycleparts.com has better prices on OEM parts.

ok, this may sound stupid but when i looked on the bike bandit site it showed 3 seals, not 2. maybe i was looking at the wrong thing....

What seals do you need?There is a dust boot on the front of the swingarm that covers the shaft and there would be a seal at the input shaft to the rear housing and a seal at the front in the trans housing.

mine is an 2003. when i read about lubing the swingarm and driveshaft i see where folks mention the "driveshaft seals". i was just wondering what seals they were referring to.

Gadgit's web page has a good article that shows all of it. Unless you had an oil leak you shouldn't need to change the seals. All mine needed was a new dust boot. The rear end, trans and swing arm seals were ok.

all i can find is oil seals. i was thinking since i had it down was to put new ones in there.

if your final drive isnt leaking i would leave it alone. just pull off your final drive and grease the slip yoke and pinion as per the service manuals instruction.
