I was preparing to make a remark about "choking the chicken" in the morning and then the double meaning poped into my head and .... well this being the family channel and all...

FYI... I had to wait till last minute but I believe I will be attending rally. Unfortunately I have to ride this one solo without the better half. She can't get off work and selling house to relocate near our grandchildren. But I would really like to start meeting the good people in KawaNow, so I will head out Monday and will stay at KOA. According to my count from this thread and PM's, we are now up to 17 bikes and 25 people for all or part of the rally. That ain't too shabby a turn out.

Can't wait to hit the road on Friday to start heading up to Blairsville, Ga!

Tried to post a note but am not sure if it got through so this may be redundant....anyway,
I have a reservation at the Day's Inn for Wed and Thurs nights.....plan to start out from Charlotte NC area on Tuesday adn take I 77 to the NC/VA border area (Fancy Gap, VA) and then onto the Blue Ridge....It will likely take me until Wed to make it all the way as I won't be burnign up the road, especially on the parkway...Anybody travellign that way at that time and wants company, please let me know..

Hey John...I have a brother who lives in Bay City. Don't know how close that is to ya'll ...glad you can make it - tell the better half 'Hi' from 'Unwind2' (Nancy) and hope to meet her on another get together. :)
