Made it to Tennessee

Hay gang. Just want to post a quick note to let those who care know that I finally made it to Kingston, TN. The house in Seattle is on the market and Nancy is watching it until it sells. She'll join me when it sells, unless the seperation gets to be too much.

I'm in house hunting mode right now, as well as working my back side off. I've got a couple of realtors lined up for Saturday and Sunday looking in the region.

I had to fly into Knoxville a couple of weeks ago so the scoot was "abandoned" in the garage in Seattle. I couldn't handle it so I posted a notice on UShip.com requesting bids to transport it from Seattle to here. Got a good response from Swift Transport Services and the bike arrived last night, safe and sound. Got to take my first ride in Tennessee this afternoon after work. Got in about a 100 miles. I like this place. Good roads, pleasant temps, great machinery. Sweet, only need to get Nancy here to complete the picture.

Wish I could make the fall foliage ride on Sunday. That would be a gas. Unfortunately, house hunting has to take precedence.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in time.

John

BigJohn...I didn't realize you had moved to TN! That is great. I told Tammy and she was excited too. I guess you get extra S'Mores next time we camp.

Thanks all. I'm looking forward to extra 'smores. <G>

This whole moving thing was a suprise to us. Life was good until I got home from Custer. Found out that I no longer had a project to go to. I was able to scramble and get about 20 hours a week for six weeks. In Early August I was asked to come to the Knoxville area on a help out. I guess I helped myself right into a job. With the hitch that we move. So, here I am.

Looking forward to meeting everyone over the next year or so.

Is Duke gonna come too? Maybe he'll ride over to see us all. The more the merrier and the more S'mores we get to make!
