Congrats Greg....nice looking ride. I got out for a couple hundred miles yesterday with a few other folks. I saw a blue one just like it on the ferry and checked it out pretty good. Nice improvements on the 2014 models for sure. CJ is going to be jealous....!

I hear you Denny. It has been too long. Hope to see you and Sally sooner than later. I need to catch-up on some of your stories!

It only takes a short ride on the new '14's to immediately notice the changes HD made on their tourers. The most noticeable for me was the change in the fork and head bearings. It handles like an entirely different bike now. Much improved.

Coming from a 96 to the new upgraded 103 (improved cam), there is definitely an increase in power. Didn't notice much difference between the 96 and the previous old 103; although there was more power -- it was just not a big enough increase to make a difference to me. But there is a difference now.

Lastly, the hydraulic clutch, new trunk latches, increased space (not at much as a Vic though), LED lights, linked ABS brakes, improved electronic gadgets, and more make this a major improvement to previous Harleys. I would venture to say they are not even in the same class.

Jealous yet CJ?

Nope. Why would I be jealous? I'm happy with my "outdated" 2011 Ultra Limited.

It's amazing what you can learn about a bike when you ride it instead of tow it, eh?

Sorry Greg, I was just having a little fun at your expense. I still think your bikes get more mileage on the trailer than they are ridden though. That is a nice looking bike. I wouldn't mind some of the new technology, I'm just waiting until they are vetted a little longer before considering a move.
