2 Years ago today...

2 years ago today I purchased my first Victory motorcycle and entered into motorcycle bliss. After many different bikes and spending a lot of $$ trying to get comfortable with the ergonomics of various bikes I finally found a bike I was really comfortable on right out of the box. I am not a "brand" loyal kind of guy and I like virtually all motorcycles, but until someone else comes along with an ergonomic fit for me I will be riding Victory's. This weekend Greg Wilson and I will be burning up the roads around LaCrosse, WI. I never tire of riding these roads as they are some of the best the upper midwest has to offer. A few years ago Greg's wife Kendra accused us of being crazy after a particularly fast pass on one of the twisties we frequent. I think her comment had a lot of merit

Thanks for the good wishes & glad you are enjoying your ride.
I understand were you are coming from, last September, I traded in my trusted 2005 Vulcan Nomad on a new 2012 Honda Goldwing that I truly enjoy ridding.

Mine is exactly 7 months ago Mike! Like you I'm not brand loyal but I am quality, comfort, fit and reliable loyal. My Vic is a lot larger than Kaw and HD have to offer with luggage room galore. I travel two up so all those factors were considered. I've never been happier over a ride.

Finally getting mine pinstriped this Saturday (artist was sick) and riding to Julian CA for some pie on Sunday.

Mike I'm going with Ruby Red (like the V on the tank badge) and a Grey/Silver color both lines side by side following the same pattern but about 1/32" apart. should set off the Bronze Mist metalflake nicely. Fairing, lowers, front and rear fender, side covers, saddlebags and Trunk.

I saw a couple Vics a Honda a Harley and a Yamaha.
