My schedule still looks good to go, I need to reserve my room in Lincoln though.

Will probably take 1-2 days of the rally week to spend with my son. He lives in Boulder, works in Denver.

Got my first real ride in today. Only back and forth to work before today. Started out cool but really nice by the time we got home about 6:30.

HD vs sport bike crash had the road closed on the way home though. Between Diamond Bluff and Prescott for those of you familiar with the area.

Happy to hear that you are going to make the Rally Cal. Contact Denny about meeting up on Saturday (June 22) morning for the ride to Lincoln. I went thru Diamond Bluff about 3:30 yesterday afternoon heading to Prescott. Everything was cool then, but there were a million bikes out yesterday.

Will do. It might be easier for me to connect up a little farther down the line on the 22nd - will see.

The news report on the accident just said a 61 year old lost control rounding a corner. The information at the scene was that one bike was making a u-turn when then second bike rounded the corner and crashed. This might have been closer to 5:00. Traffic was all locked up and word was that med flight was inbound, so we turned back and detoured on OO.

We had lunch down in Mantorville at the Hubbell House. -C

Yes, that's the place. It was a little warmer trip this past Sunday compared to last fall, not much though.

I'm having no luck reaching Denny/Sally recently. Been using email. Will try a PM. Are you still connecting up with them in Dassel?

Oh, and there were apparently 2 separate bike crashes on the same stretch of 35 last Sunday, based on the news reports we found.

Greg's travel plans have officially been squashed. Not attending.

Not happy about it either. Sore subject with me.

Sorry to hear you and Kendra will not be attending. I am sure that you guys will have a great time celebrating your 10th Anniversary. Happy Anniversary to you and Kendra. I am sure that we will be riding together sometime this summer or fall. We will miss the great stories you tell Greg, especially the one about the size of fires

Of course you are welcome to join us....I was hoping that you would actually. You might be able to hook up with Ray way before Des Moines. I will send you both my number so we can keep in touch while you guys are on the road or even before that!
