Hi there from Edmonton Alberta Canada
I currently ride a 2013 Thunderbird Storm 1700. Its a great bike but i am jonesin for a hard bagger with the front fairing and cruise and stereo and all those nice things older guys start thinking about. 80% (right now) is riding in the city and surrounding area's. I really like the white 2016 but also like the 2017 red one, white i think with a new airbrush (black) paint work strikes me though. I am a modder so likely pipes, intake, ecu tune and bars are in order, maybe new seat not sure yet. So long and short guys, give me the low down on this bike, i have not been able to ride one yet, its harder in these parts. I know the power will not be like my Storm, i would like this bike to be a keeper for a while, what are your thoughts about the bike, would you buy another one? what would you do differently or not do to the bike that you have done. How are the service costs? oil and so forth i can do myself.
thanks. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome to the forum from South Florida. Once you do some of the mods on the Vaquero, pipes air sucker Ivans ecu, your bike will definitely ride better and have more power. Then a seat by Mustang or Corbin for the long hauls. I have a Corbin on my 2011 Vaquero and love it. Good Luck!
