Well, I'm not an old timer (or maybe I am) but I've still got a Kawasaki bagger even if it's not the Vulcan anymore. I still stop around just to read the articles (just like Playboy for those old enough to remember explaining them to your mother).

Here's a true story. A bloke that worked for me,was living at home with his parents. He was sitting in his room, with his back to the door, watching porn video's.He was wearing headphones,so nobody could hear all the grunting & groaning that goes on in such video's ( so i am told ).When he finished bashing the bishop,he turned around to reach for the tissues to clean the mess up.Right next to the box of tissues,on the table, was a mug of steaming hot coffee, that his mother had just put there. The poor bastard was mortified, and dreaded leaving his room so much,he stayed in it for 2 days, with no food or drink. He had to squat down, and shit on tissues in the waste paper basket, and piss out of the window.

It was Scotch that caused me to sleep in next doors front yard all night.
I got out of a friends car, he left, and I headed for the front door. Before I got there I fell through the neighbours hedge and spent the night on their front lawn. I was still woozy the day after the day after. |

A mate of mine arrived home well slaughtered. He swung his Landrover into the drive, expecting to have at least 30ft of driveway before he stopped. There was an almighty crash, and the sound of breaking glass, followed by lots of sreaming & hollering. He had swung into the next doors drive, and smashed through their conservatory, while they sat there watching TV.The sofa ended up pinned against the kitchen wall, with them still sat in it.

I've been doing that "walk about" for the last two years Mick......currently on a fishing trip with bike in the toy hauler. Had to get a smaller bike though. Dropped the Vulcan with no one around and waited in the middle of the road until someone came along and helped me get the heavy pig up. I've got a Kawasaki Versys 650 LT now. Much easier to ride and faster than stink.
