Vegas Run from DFW

What's up Kawa Bagger brothers and sisters?! My brother is marrying in Vegas in June and I've committed to riding from DFW. The trip there will be an Iron Butt 1000 which will put me just on the other side of Flagstaff, from Dallas.
I'm leaving out June 9 Thursday around 5am and will make a final stop when I hit the Ash Fork Inn.
I like to ride semi-fast and will go the 170-200 miles for each tank if you're interested. I'll leave for Vegas sometime Friday mid-morning and the return trip starting Monday will be a scenic, semi-slow roll up through the Grand Canyon and back down probably stopping at some Route 66 highlights. Amarillo to Dallas sucks butt no matter what you do, so I don't have a definite route for return mapped. If you're interested then pm me or hit me up at mattbreaux8@gmail and we can collaborate!

The last 100 miles or so of your trip from Kingman to Vegas, will be nasty hot in June. Could easily be 110°+, stay hydrated.

And it's a dry heat, like a convection oven. Slowly cooking away,

Back home safe/sound and feeling satisfied

I've been home almost a week and 1/2 now, the ride was great and the experience was even better. Camped at North Rim in dispersed area and that was colder than a well digger's big toe. Camped at Brantley Lake SP in NM near Carlsbad Caverns and stayed in motels everywhere else. Route 66 was nothing short of amazing through Gallup and Williams and everywhere else. Tasted the local culture through several stops by meeting and talking to the people. I'd do it again tomorrow if I had the time. See y'all out there!
